Sleep Medicine

Better Sleep = Better Health

Sleep is vital for human health. Getting too little sleep can lead to problems with concentration, productivity, calorie regulation and social relationships. In contrast, consistently getting a good night’s sleep can reduce your risk of both heart disease and depression, improve physical performance and strengthen your immune system.

Symptoms to watch for

Common sleep disorder symptoms include difficulty falling or staying asleep, loud snoring or gasping noises during sleep, daytime sleepiness and napping, irritability, difficulty concentrating, depression and an irresistible urge to move your legs (particularly at bedtime).

Olympic Medical Sleep Center is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and our specialists can help to diagnose and treat your sleep disorder so you can get the rest your body and mind need.

If you don’t sleep well, you may benefit from seeing a sleep specialist. Ask your provider for a referral or call (360) 565-0999 for more information.

Home Sleep Test

Patients who are instructed to complete a Home Sleep Test received operating instructions from an Olympic Medical Sleep Center technician.

If you have questions about how to use your Home Sleep Test, call (360) 565-0999 to talk to an Olympic Medical Sleep Center technician or watch the video at left.
