Financial Assistance is Available for Qualified Patients

Olympic Medical Center is committed to serving all patients, including those who lack health insurance coverage and who cannot pay for all or part of the essential care they receive. We are committed to treating all patients with compassion. Olympic Medical Center’s Financial Assistance Program provides financial assistance for qualifying patients who need help paying for emergency or medically necessary care they receive in an Olympic Medical Center facility or by an Olympic Medical Center provider.

Do I qualify?

Based on your income and family size, you may qualify for a discount of 30-100% of your bill.

Examples (for services after July 1, 2022):

  • Individual with $29,000 income = 75% discount
  • Couple with $50,000 income = 50% discount
  • Family of four with $55,000 income = 100% discount

For a full list of family incomes, family sizes, and discounts, see the table below. In some cases, we’ll evaluate criteria other than income. For example, if you experience a catastrophic event, you may qualify regardless of income.

What does the program cover?

The program covers medically necessary care provided by us or by one of our providers. This program also covers medically necessary care provided at an Olympic Medical Center facility by Radia providers.

Please note that there are many non-employee (non-Olympic Medical) providers on medical staff that are not covered by this policy. Patients should contact these providers separately with questions about financial assistance.
